FootHolde is the only camp program in the Twin Cities Metro that provides experienced and trained professional coaches. The intensive curriculum provides a second-to-none player development experience for all of our players - focused on age-appropriate soccer skills, free-play street soccer, ball mastery development (composure with the ball), decision making and problem solving, a competitive camp tournament, as well as a fitness training component and nutritional education (by licensed professionals). Not to mention our players receive free educational materials (sport psychology books for individual performanc enhancement), individual workout plans, individual training devices, and guidelines for improving game-day performance.

FootHolde Select Camps

To Challenge Minnesota’s most committed and competitive players!

SelectBattle

The Select Camps provide a high quality and challenging training environment like no other camp in the region. Not only do we have the finest and most experienced coaches, but we also attract many of the top players across the state, which really pushes our players to compete “outside their comfort zone.”

Select I is FootHolde's first and foremost camp program - started in 2003 with 100+ Premier and C1 players competing at the highest levels. The demand has increased as more and more older players committed to working hard and improving come out each year. All Select Camps contain a Performance/Fitness Training Component in the curriculum. Daily guests and personal workouts are a part of helping players take their game to the next level.

FootHolde Camps (Academy-style camps)

Develop skills AND build passion for the game!

The Academy Camps provide a learning and fun-filled training environment, provided by a highly experienced professional coaching staff. The camps are growing fast (hint, hint ...satisfied past FootHolders are telling their friends!) with players attending from all across the Metropolitan Area.

Academy-style camps are basSouth Academy-FootHoldeed on teaching the fundamental aspects of the game. The objectives are to teach technical skills, ball mastery (confidence with the ball), problem solving, new relationships, and good sportsmanship. In addition, players will also learn the importance of starting their own "street soccer" games, as they will be expected to set up and organize these games at the beginning of each camp day.

All Academy-style camps contain an age-appropriate Performance Training Component focused on balance, strength, agility, and movement education. These camps are mainly for younger players (ages U6-U14), and cater to instilling passion for the game while learning new skills.

FootHolde Rugrats!

Introduction to the game in a fun-filled camp experience!

FootHolde is excited to announce a new camp program for 4-8 year olds, where players can learn the fundamentals of movement, balance, social cooperation, and fun while playing and learning the rules of soccer. This is a great opportunity for new players to learn the game and meet new friends from enthusiastic and trained youth coaches.

The Rugrats Curriclulum will focus on exploring movement and exercise with the ball - all while playing games, games, and more games! Coaches will follow an age-appropriate, fun-filled curriculum where players can explore the fun and beauty of running with the ball, scoring goals, and cooperating with teammates. Where else can a young player learn and have fun playing with experienced coaches who have played collegiate soccer?

FootHolde Skill Camps I and II

Improve technical skills for game-day preparation!

FootHolde Skill Camps are the newest FootHolde Soccer Camps, catered towards players who want to improve their technical skills for game-day preparation. Every player will get better with their 1st touch, dribbling, passing, receiving (on the ground and in the air), heading, and ball striking skills -- and FootHolde Skill Camps prepare players to become more confident with the ball utilizing various creative technical methods.

It is a camp focused on enhancing player's technical skills. These camps are not as intensive as other camps, but are more narrowly focused on player development and ball mastery (confidence with the ball). FootHolde Goalkeeper Academy

Train with and learn from the area's best GK Trainers!

The FooHolde Goalkeeper Academy fills the void for many of the state's goalkeepers looking for professional, quality training from a high-level Goalkeeper Coach. Run by Nate Hitch, the Goalkeeper Academy opens in 2010 to provide goalies with great training, a positive coaching style, and technical details to help local GK's receive the instruction they need to get to "the next level."

Hitch was a goalkeeper on Gustavus Adolphus College teams that qualified for the NCAA Division III national playoffs in 2003 and 2004, reaching the sectional final (national quarterfinals) in 2004. In 21 games played (18 starts, 1,680 minutes) during his Gustie career, he allowed just seven goals, recorded a 17-2 record with 11 shutouts and a 0.37 goals-against-average with 51 saves. He was also a member of the Minnesota Thunder's Project 25 training program in 2004.

"I am excited to be part of the Footholde Goalkeeper Clinics. Footholde has a great presences within the soccer community in Minnesota for field player and now we are expanding to bring in what I believe is the most important position on the field, the goalkeeper. Please join me and the Footholde staff as we welcome the next level of goalkeepers to Minnesota.... Practice makes permanent."

-Nate Hitch, FootHolde Goalkeeper Academy Coach

FootHolde Club Camps

The Best Soccer Camps for Minnesota Soccer Clubs!

FootHolde Club Camps provide professional soccer camps to local youth soccer clubs in and across the Twin Cities Metro. Essentially, we work with each club to provide a discount for their players to attend a professionally run FootHolde camp in their own backyard (Club Camps are open to outside players). Clubs also receive a FREE coaching education clinic for their coaches, AND one gifted scholarship to be provided to a player of choice within their club.

Provided by a highly experienced FootHolde coaching staff, Club Camps are run as Academy and Rugrat camps -- based on teaching the fundamental aspects of the game in a fun-filled, flowing, and learning environment. The objectives are to teach technical skills, ball mastery (confidence with the ball), problem solving, and decision making in a small-sided environment. In addition, players will also learn the importance of starting their own "street soccer" games, as they will be expected to set up and organize these games at the beginning of each camp day. New relationships, nutritional advice, and good sportsmanship are a few life-skills components that are reinforced during the camp week.

FootHolde Northwest was our 1st Club Camp (run in 2008). Sine then, Prior Lake, Elk River, St. Louis Park, and Bloomington have jumped on board. This is a great opportunity for any club looking to host an amazing camp experience for their players - where everyone can learn the fundamental aspects of the game and build passion for participation in the great game of soccer! We are excited for the summer of 2010 and hope to see other clubs jump on board to provide this great experience for their players.
