Cottage Grove United Soccer Club and FootHolde are synonymous with player development: teaching, educating, coaching, supporting and challenging players to improve, work hard and have fun. At Cottage Grove Soccer, we encourage our players to play the game and have fun in a professional instruction environment. In the past four years, our younger players have developed at a greater rate than any other club, thanks in part to all the player development oppotunities that FootHolde and CG Soccer have provided for our players. One of those opportunities is FootHolde Soccer Camps, where players and teams affilicated with Cottage Grove Soccer receive special discounts on registration. With the positive changes and growth of Cottage Grove Soccer, Jonathan Schaefer and FootHolde provide Cottage Grove players with access to a professional soccer camp experience in their own backyard at Kington Park. A fun-filled learning environment with experienced and qualified coaching provides a second-to-none developmental opportunity for our players.
Camps and Clinics
FootHolde Soccer Camps are focused on instilling passion and teaching the fundamental aspects of the game, while challenging older players to think and play quickly in a more demanding and professional training environment. The objectives are to encourage technical ball mastery, attacking skills, problem solving, and decision making in a small-sided environment. Younger players will learn new skills, improve their comfort with the ball, meet new friends; while older players will become more confident, creative, and accountable, learn positive lifestyle habits (i.e., nutrition, responsibility, leadership), and be challenged to take their game to "the next level."

Winter Clinic Details
FootHolde is offering two winter clinic options for TRSA soccer players: Excellence of Attack-East (Nov-Dec @ Bielenberg), and Individual Competitive Development (Jan-Mar @ the Augsburg Dome). The Excellence of Attack curriculum will focus on attacking principles - creative 1 v 1 moves technical goal scoring, and decision making in the final third. The I.C.D. curriculum will focus on individual technical (ball mastery) and tactical (decision-making) development in a competitive small-sided game environment. The ICD Clinic will include a core strength/fitness component at each session.
All CG United players will receive a special discount when registering.
